At scout. the label, we recognise the urgent need to address the environmental and social challenges facing our planet. As a small independent Australian fashion brand, we are committed to operating sustainably and minimising our impact on the environment.

Our sustainability approach focuses on three key pillars:

1. Ethical production: We ensure that all of our clothing is produced in a responsible and ethical manner. We partner with manufacturers who share our commitment to fair labor practices and safe working conditions. We also prioritise the use of sustainable materials and avoid the use of any materials that are harmful to the environment.

2. Sustainable materials: We are committed to using sustainable materials in our products wherever possible. We use fabrics made from recycled materials, organic cotton, and other eco-friendly fibres. We also strive to minimise waste by using deadstock fabrics and incorporating recycled materials into our designs.

3. Conscious consumption: We believe in promoting conscious consumption and encouraging our customers to make thoughtful purchasing decisions. We offer timeless and versatile pieces that are designed to last, rather than promoting fast fashion trends that contribute to overconsumption and waste.

4. Minimisation of waste: we strive to get as close to waste free as possible, ensuring that we use as many of the off-cut fabrics as possible. Our scout.the label 'Kin' range - of the same cloth- and our scout. the tot kidswear ranges all use the fabric left over from main range production.
